Leider musste das „Leatherdale International Polar Bear Erhaltung Centre“ am Assiniboine Park Zoo wieder mitteilen, dass ein männlicher Eisbär gerettet werden musste.
Sadly the Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre at the Assiniboine Park Zoo announces that a male cub had to be brought in as well.

Dies ist in diesem Jahr das zweite Jungtier das in das Center gebracht werden musste. Das männliche Jungtier ist ungefähr ein Jahr alt und wiegt zur Zeit nur 39 Kilogramm. Dies ist das leichteste Jungtier das seit Bestehen des Center das aufgenommen wurde.
This is the second cub this year that has needed rescuing. The male cub is about a year old and currently weighs only about 85 lbs. It is the thinnest cub they’ve had since the Centre was established.
Mitglieder des „Polar Park Conservancy ’s Polar Bear Rescue Team“ reiste am Freitag , den 9. Dezember, nach Churchill, um Reise des Jungtiers nach Winnipeg zu organisieren und zu beaufsichtigen. Der Kleine ist im Zoo und hat sich schon gut eingelebt. Das Jungtier wird jetzt die obligatorische 30 Tage Quarantäne durchlaufen.
Members of the “Polar Bear Rescue Team” again traveled to Churchill on December 9, to take charge and organize the cub’s trip to Winnipeg. The little cub is at the zoo and seems to have settled in well. The cub will now have to wait through the obligatory 30-day quarantine period.

Dieser kleine Bär ist jetzt der neunte junge Eisbär im „Leatherdale International Polar Bear Erhaltung Centre“.
This little bear is the ninth polar bear placed at the Leatherdale International Polar Bear Conservation Centre.
